You should carefully read the following terms and conditions. Your purchase or use of our products implies that you have read and accepted both these terms and conditions and our Acceptable Use Policy.
Defenitions
"Us", "We", "Our", "Actor's CV" and "ActorsCV.com" all refer to Actor's CV a sub company of Dancha Designs.
Our Liability
Actor's CV does not accept responsibility for any errors and/or omissions and we reserve the right to amend information, specifications and descriptions of any listed products/packages and services. However, we will do our best to correct inaccuracies and errors as quickly as possible after being informed of them.
Your website template will be rendered around the style that you have chosen from our range of templates. The final look and feel of the site may vary, depending on the quality of the images that you upload. It is the client's responsibility to check all content for errors before uploading and publishing as Actor's CV hold no responsibility for errors or omissions in this regard.
We are not a copywriting service and request all clients to check all material and to certify that they have permission from the relevant party regarding any publication of copyrighted material.
All our websites & website templates are hosted with third-party suppliers and so consequently we unable to guarantee a 100% uninterrupted service for web hosting. Our supplier offers an availability guarantee to Actor's CV, however we cannot be held liable for direct or indirect losses suffered as a result of any aspect of our service being unavailable.
The Service
Your domain name will be registered by us on your behalf when you sign up with Actors CV. This may be anyone of a .co.uk, .com, .info, .net, .biz or .name domain name, Actor's CV does not offer any other domains.
The domain names that we register are valid for the following periods:
If you wish to register a domain name with us, we will automatically renew your domain name at the appropriate time on your behalf unless you state otherwise in writing (which must have been received 30 days prior to your renewal date). We invoice you where appropriate.
Actor's CV grants you a nonexclusive limited license to use the web templates and other products leased through us. This license gives you full access to our Backstage system for as long as the agreed contact term (either 1 month, or 1 year) and as long as your account is fully paid. This license has the following requirements:
If the gallery addon page is purchased, a maximum of no more than 20 images may be uploaded, and each file can be no larger than 2MB. If the video or audio pages are purchased, you may only upload 5 files per page, again being no larger than 2MB. This file size limit may be changed at any time by Actors CV as it deems necessary for the smooth running of our servers, network or for any other reason. A larger file upload limit may be negotiated with Actors CV at any time, however any increase may be subject to an increase in subscription rates, and is at the discretion of Actors CV.
Each Actor's CV account has a 1GB (Gigabyte) per month transfer limit. This is the amount of data that your website can transmit or transfer in 1 month. It is unlikley that you will ever approach this limit, however if your website does transfer more than this amount in a calender month we reserve the right to charge £0.50 per MB (Megabyte) over the 1GB (Gigabyte) limit. You will be notified via email if you ever approach this limit. We also reserve the right to terminate your account if your website transfers so much data as to affect the functionality or service of other users of our accounts. Please see our AUP for further details.
Payments
All payments to ActorsCV.com are processed through 2 diffrent third party companies. This is for your added security and peace of mind as your payment details will only ever be transmited to highly secure servers & your money is strictly managed by finacially regualted companies. Each of these companies has their own Terms & Conditions which you will be presented with before you complete payment with them, for your convinence you can view PayPal's here and WorldPay's here.
Refunds
Once you have setup your account with Actor's CV, you may cancel your order within 7 days with no obligation, should you change your mind for any reason, with a full refund. This refund policy excludes domain purcheses as this is a one time set up cost as part of signing up with Actor's CV, and cannot be recovered by Actor's CV.
After 7 days, any refunds are at the discretion of Actor's CV.
Referrals
For every person who joins us on your recommendation you will receive a refund that is equal to a months subscription for which ever plan (add-ons included) you are subscribed to at the time the referred user enters your referral code in to our system. This refund will be payable from 31 days after the referred user has signed up with us, and should be completed no less than 14 days after that time. The refund will be paid back using the same billing method you use to pay your subscription fee, either direct on your debit or credit card or in the form of a cheque. Refunds by cheque will be made payable ONLY to the customer name held in our records for your account, and will be sent ONLY to the address we have on record.
From the time the referred user first logs into their Backstage account, they will have 7 days to enter your referral code. Actors CV cannot be held liable for your referrals failing to enter your code within this time frame. Nomination of a referring user by a new user can only be made at this time, and under no circumstances will we accept referral details retrospectively after this 7 day period.
Actors CV reserve the right to withhold referral refund payments if your account is in arrears. Referral payments cannot be used to offset any outstanding monies you may owe us.
Contract Renewal
Your contract with Actors CV will either last for 1 month, or 1 year depending on the billing cycle chosen at the time of sign up with Actors CV. We will automatically renew this contract every month or year as appropriate unless you state otherwise in writing no less than 20 days before your next billing date. Actors CV hereby reserve the right to null your contract at any time and for any reason.
Cancellation
You may cancel your contract with Actors CV at any time in writing, however we offer no refund on monies already paid to Actors CV. This does not affect your rights as laid out in the 'Refunds' section. If you cancel your account your domain will remain in our control unless you specifiy you would like to move it to a thirdparty registrar of your choice. Please note we cannot transfer ownership of any domain for 60 days, this is the waiting period as laid out by ICANN (the governing body of domain registrations) and is not something we can bypass.
Anti-fraud Checks
Customer accounts may be suspended for up to 72 hours while anti-fraud checks are carried out.
Changing this agreement
Actor's CV reserve the right to change this agreement at any time and for any reason. We may advise clients of any changes to these terms in due course, but we are under no obligation to do so.
This is an agreement between Actor's CV and any user who uses any services offered by Actor's CV.com. Before signing up to any of our services, you must accept the terms stated above. If you are unsure about any parts of the user license do not continue with the registration process, instead email us and we will endeavour to clarify any points you wish.
